Research shows a decline in charitable donations citing reasons such as age, lack of emotional connection and inaccessibility. Therefore, I set out to create an app to target Gen Y, making it ‘cool’ to support a cause(s). It would keep the public aware of, and involved in the happenings in their community, in turn helping charities better connect with and encourage a wider audience to participate.
